Are the dragon books a series?
@book wormie: All the ones by Anne McCaffrey are a series known as The Dragonriders of Pern. The ones by Naomi Novik are a different, historical fantasy series called the Temeraire series, and Terry Pratchett writes the Discworld books. So yes, they are in a series; just not necessarily all in the same series.
