The Colleen Socks are finished. Oh, it felt nice to say that. Let’s try it again. THE COLLEEN SOCKS ARE FINISHED. Yep, definitely better the second time.
These have actually been finished for about a week now. However, because of this weekend (State Science Fair, JS, and Brother #1’s confirmation) and the days leading up to it, I haven’t been able to do anything blogwise.
I’ll attempt to upload pictures…

STATS
Pattern: Original pattern by me – Simple Celtic Panel + toe-up sock pattern, modified for my size
Needles: US 2 (2.75 mm) dps
Yarn: 2 skeins worsted weight, both I Love This Yarn! (color: Forest)
Length: Long enough to come up to my knees, so… 25″
Width: About 8″ around
Mods: These definitely will not fit my legs, so they are going to a girl I know. I would have to make them much wider up top to fit my calves. Also, I think next time I’ll use actual sock yarn instead of worsted weight, because these puppies are thick!
Will post later re: other stuff.

Looking good!
